Do you know about the ACN?
It’s for people who have interest in living in some kind of community or intentional living situation. Every month, usually on the 2nd Sunday (except in April), usually from 4-6pm, they meet. Typically, the first half of the meeting involves some presentation or activity. Then we share a potluck dinner together.
You are welcome to attend!
Meetings have been bringing people together, introducing them to community living, and supporting groups interested in forming intentional communities in Western North Carolina. As a result, several groups have been formed and are in various stages of forming and building communities.
You can get on the yahoo email list simply by going to the website and clicking on ‘Contact Us.’ Or you can enroll directly in the yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ashevillecommunitiesnetwork.
Then you’ll start receiving the emails when there is news – perhaps 3-4 times a month. Recently, for example, there was an email about a great buy on a 5 bedroom home that a group could buy to create a collaborative household community. Each month you’ll be notified as to what the upcoming months 2nd Sunday activity will be.
